19:31:04 From Jackie's iPad : Up here in the north east of Scotland the weather has been quite severe, and on Monday of this week the sun came out and it became a beautiful day. I wandered into the woods with my dog and came across a deer, it made no attempt to disappear and just stayed grazing on the foliage. I just stood and watched for ages, moving on I was then blessed to have a Heron take flight ahead of me. I watched it fly along the river right over the deer. What a sight. It certainly made up for the amount of mud the dog trailed through.
So much lichen and new ferns emerging.
