Here's your replay of the Spring into Life 2026 online retreat
Watch the replays
On Saturday, 14th March, we came together to work with the Spring Equinox energies and overcome resistance to act on our dreams.
It was an absolute pleasure to share this with those of you who were able to come along, and we are sorry to miss those of you who weren’t able to join us on the day.
This retreat is an opportunity to deepen into the nature connection and shamanic toolkit, working with animal spirit medicine journeying and the wheel of the year by:
- Create space to focus on what truly matters to you, so that you can move forward with clarity and purpose in the months ahead
- Reconnect with your deep motivation, recognising what genuinely wants to be brought into the world rather than what you think you should be doing
- Release the resistance that's been holding you back, so that procrastination gives way action
- Identify the steps needed to bring your ideas from the imaginal into reality
- Connect deeply with nature and the Otherworld and hear the wisdom held there
We are delighted to be able to share with you the replays of all the sessions we held throughout the day, beginning with the welcome and scene settings right through to the closing ceremony.

12:06:05 From Eve : it was beautiful, gentle and peaceful
12:06:10 From Inês Merino ✶ Art & Magic : It was a really feisty little bird, the Warbler! I learned and experienced so many things. One way to face big scary threats is to add speed and also to fly above, seeing them in context and smaller.

12:06:20 From 123 To All Panelists : It’s a big tree and we can all have our own branch. Enjoy the song and energy of others, no need to be over whelmed by it. Very beautiful experience!!

12:06:38 From Cathy Avery : As the Tit I sat there and watched my human body change, evolve, be moulded into a new version of me. When I went back to my body I felt renewed. The Tit symbolizes joy, curiosity, optimism and resilience, urging me to live attentively and to maintain a cheerful and persistent spirit despite vulnerabilities. The Tit is encouraging me to find hope, joy and blessing within every day moments and to trust the organic process of trying until my success is achieved. To know and trust that I have love, protection, abundance and prosperity. The Tit is reminding me to be my authentic self and to be fearless and bold, reminding me that my differences, quirks and uniqueness are not my weakness, they are my strengths!

12:06:57 From Caroline Mackay : I think it's the first time I've been able to feel the bird, Dunnock. We stayed close to the ground but I heard. "Learn to be light, learn to fly, teach them to fly". A lovely experience, thank you.

12:07:44 From Tina Burchill To Loren and All Panelists : Hello Loren, If you want everyone to see your message, you need to click on everyone in the ‘to’ box. If you don’t, only myself, Jason and Nicola will see it.
12:07:48 From Lesley To All Panelists : Resistance seeks control, control is about fear. The warbler isn’t afraid

12:08:11 From Sandy Holt : I didn’t really go anywhere as song bird but I realised that my soul self shares more characteristics of starling than I realised. my message was embracing my inner starling…in the middle of the journey my cat jumped up next to me and i felt fear - realising that I was truly immersed in Star-ling. I loved this and will work with starling more….. it was the cosmic link that really excited me….
12:08:16 From Lesley : Resistance seeks control, control is about fear. The warbler isn’t afraid
12:08:33 From Lesley To All Panelists : Thank you Tina!

12:09:57 From Gillian choo To All Panelists : Got it want to do things but cant could nit move my feet when in nightingale
12:10:38 From Tina Burchill To Gillian choo and All Panelists : Hello Gillian, you need to click on everyone, If you want everyone to see your message,
12:12:23 From Rachael ✨ : Warbler. Fear was present, I knew that from the fear of being eaten by owl or fox. I trusted my companion guides to rest and not to hunt me. I was conscious of a racing heart beat and looking out for danger. What if a cat gets me… Warbler spirit said what if it doesn’t, I am in the present moment not with what if’s. My heart beats fast because I am small, I am courageous too. Trust the wind to carry my flight. What looks like a tangle of branches to humans ar great big routes for a Warbler like me, the branches give me protection. I have a large territory and I have a flock that I can choose to be part of. Spaciousness serves me well. I found catching flies felt awkward, then I realised I can make it easy and go to the bird table.

The Recordings
Morning Session One
We begin by setting the scene for the day, opening up the circle experiencing the dawn chorus through an Earthlight nature connection film and holding a Words of Magic creative practice activity.
We then move into the focus for the morning session, which is around working through resistance by tuning in to the messages of the songbirds. We talk about Beltane energies and the topic of resistance.
There is an activity where you reflect back on something you achieved in the past that you didn’t think you would.
The books we mention are: The War of Art: Break Through the Blocks and Win Your Inner Creative Battles by Steven Pressfield and Do Nothing: How to Break Away from Overworking, Overdoing and Underliving by Celeste Headlee.
We have a blog on this topic: Procrastinating to Greatness.
Morning Session Two
In this session, you will choose at random a songbird to work with and spend time researching its underlying energy. We lead a guided shamanic journey to your songbird to seek insights into what it can teach you about overcoming resistance.
We conclude the morning session by explaining the Medicine Walk activity that you will carry out during the extended lunch break.
Afternoon Session
We begin this session with a brand new Earthlight Film 'Deepening', Jason created especially for this At Home Retreat. We lead an awakening rune chant to set you up for the action-planning session.
Here are direct links to the Earthlight films 'Dawn Chorus' and 'Taking Flight.'
