Saturday 2nd May 2015 1pm – 5pm | £20
Come and join as as we mark another turn in the wheel of the year, this time up on the wild moors of Lancashire.
We often speak of Round Loaf, the Sidhe mound close to where we live up in the West Pennine Moors. For our Beltane celebration we will be spending the afternoon here in ceremony and ritual on this amazing sacred site, immersing ourselves in the energies of spring, inviting abundance and creativity into our lives.
We will meet in Rivington, and together climb into the West Pennine Moors to spend time at the Sidhe mound Round Loaf, trance drumming, chanting, singing and journeying with the faeries.
You will need walking boots and a walking pole (we have a few spares), and a reasonable level of fitness as its a 45 minute walk from the road. Afterwards, for those of you who fancy, we will finish off with a pint in the local pub and maybe a bite to eat.
We will meet at 1pm in the car park at The Bay Horse pub, Babylon Lane, Heath Charnock, Chorley, Lancashire, PR6 9ER. Click here for the location map.
Please bring with you a gift for the Sidhe – whatever this might be – maybe a crystal, pebble, shell, food or drink – as well as any Beltane readings you might like to share.
The price is £20 booking in advance or £25 on the day. To book your place click on the Paypal button below.
