Here's your replay of the Bear Necessities 2025 At Home Retreat
Watch the replay below
On Saturday, 29th November, we came together to transition into winter together, drawing on the shamanic and nature connection toolkit.
It was an absolute pleasure to share this with those of you who were able to come along, and we are sorry to miss those of you who werenโt able to join us on the day.
Held at the time as the last leaves are falling from the trees, this 'At Home' retreat is an opportunity to help you gently transition into the winter.
Through the retreat, there are immersive, meditative videos of moorland landscapes, underground caves, mountains, rivers, waterfalls and coastline around the north of England and up into Scotland. There are guided activities to help you reflect on the year that has passed and decide what you will take into the winter months to incubate, ready for the return of the light and springtime on the other side.
You will tune into Bear energy, as the animal with the message of security and who drops into cave time to rest during the dark months. And you will work with Holly, the tree of sanctuary.
There will be shamanic journeying, creativity time, reflective time and nature time, as well as a ceremony at the end of the day to set your intentions going forward.
Watch the replay to:
- Find stillness in amongst the busyness of the festival season
- Hone your focus for the coming months as we move into the long nights
- Tune in with the messages of the Otherworld and see what your spirit guides have to say to you
- Work with the healing messages of animals through a guided shamanic journey to Bear
- Draw on the energy of sanctuary from Holly as you set your intention for the winter.
- Connect deeply with nature and hear the wisdom which is held there
- Prioritise some time for you, clear your mind and reconnect back with what is important
We are delighted to be able to share with you the replays of all the sessions we held through the day, beginning with the welcome and scene settings right through to the closing ceremony.

After talking about Bear energy, we begin with Jason's Earthlight film "And The Wheel Turns". We follow with an activity where you reflect on your past year.

10:29:24 From Carolyn Hicks : Thereโs my first intention set - an hour a day of TWOTB study

10:29:49 From Sarah : an hour a day is doable - a gift to yourself
10:30:02 From Tracey Roberts : I'm already wanting to reach for my diary and block out my 100 hours
10:30:08 From Susie Fox : I do not often connect with Bear, but when I need a โGatekeeperโ as energies are moving from place to place and I want protection, this is where I invite Bear to be my Gatekeeper.
10:30:12 From Kathryn : Wow imagine 100 days that would be amazing! I related o the idea of going to a cave to nurture yourself - I have barely been taking time just to recover not to prepare. That hit me powerfully.
10:30:13 From Deborah Benson : felt totally surrounded by the heart energy of bear...bliss๐ป๐
10:30:13 From GillM : I need to prepare before doing something,
10:30:17 From Ilse : I have a three month sabbatical next year. Not to do whatever I want, I've had to hand in a project proposal and need to write it up afterwards, but nevertheless three months of no work duties will be wonderful!

10:30:54 From GillM : I panic when you said 100 hours
10:31:05 From Maggie Hands : Lately Iโve been working a lot on personal boundaries and feel very drawn to bear. To allow myself to protect my boundaries and not be available all the time. To not be afraid to allow my inner bear to growl if it needs to.
10:31:05 From caroline : I've been understanding the need to find time to self-nurture, to be creative, to explore solitude. When I find it, it's priceless.
10:31:32 From Liz McT : Yes, an hour a day is more than doable, when I think of the mindless scrolls that take up so much time!
10:31:47 From Leah Whitehorse : I find it super hard to disconnect and spend time on myself. I do have a regular meditation practice but I also want to have more reflective/creative time
10:32:09 From Gemma Bevan : I can't put a time on it as depends on my baby so some days I have more time than others but always give myself some time even if it's just 10 mins.
10:32:28 From Alison : make me time essential and if that means you need to schedule it in then do so. Its just as important as all those other important tasks
10:32:32 From Kathryn : Itโs hard for me to take an hour every day when I am working but I can set aside some time on non work days. Stopping scrolling is a big thing!!!
10:32:33 From Leah Whitehorse : Bear for me is also associated with the dreamworlds because of the big sleep
10:33:29 From Jane McArthur : An hour a day for creativity. Thank you Jason for this thought. Iโm excited!
10:34:19 From Susan : Loved Jason's point that when you make some time for yourself and creative work that the rest of your time expands...so true.
10:34:45 From Leah Whitehorse : Agree Susan - very good point
10:34:51 From Ruth Findlay : There are bears (and wolves) here in the Pyrenees where I live. I've never seen one, but there's something magic about just knowing they're there.
10:35:13 From Kathryn : Actually I think I can see a way to squeeze this creative time in even when I have huge work demands. Bear is already helping me!
10:35:38 From Tina Burchill : Here is the link for the film:https://thewayofthebuzzard.co.uk/and-the-wheel-turns-film/

11:10:28 From Jacinta : I recall this film from a few years ago, the symbols and directions that I saw within it, they lead me and kept me on this path. The symbol of Thurisaz, it's meaning of Thorn, spearhead, giant, ability to overcome, strength, defence, force....
I still have the same feelings watching this film, connection with Self and planet, calmness and wholeness, renewal and much welcomed change.
11:10:35 From gilian : oh yes beautiful film
11:10:36 From Karen Clarke : Thankyou Jason. I think it captured the feelings of society as well in its edginess and anxiousness and how that can be reflected in nature. So many wondeful experiences captured there of this incredible land. Thank you - loved it!

12:26:03 From Andrew : Not sure what to expect from it
12:26:06 From Trina Price : Still tweaking it! Challenging to remember what I was doing all year!!
12:26:13 From Susan Hadrick : wow this year was so fast...and still crossing stepping stones
12:26:16 From iPad To All Panelists : Emotional because it hasnโt been a great year
12:26:19 From emmat : It reminded me of how much I have grown, and what I still need to work on
12:26:21 From Ali Hunn : The reflections were interesting
12:26:27 From SarahHutchings : very helpful - too much indoors time, that needs to change going forwards
12:26:27 From Gill Dunkerley : It was illuminating. I really enjoyed the process and realised that it had been quite a year but I felt proud of myself for how Iโve grown through it all.
12:26:27 From Liz W : My timeline was insightful. There was more there than I expected.
12:26:32 From Michelle Hardwick : Very therapeutic - very up and down - surprising

12:26:35 From Andrew : Good to see some positives, as generally it dfeels it's been stressful
12:26:35 From Tracey Roberts : I did my timeline a week ago and sat with it again just now, seeing the deeper connections, and there are lots.
12:26:36 From Linsey Meredith : A bit emotional, but felt good to look at it as a whole.
12:26:47 From Karen Davies : the sound is breaking up since you have come back, anyone else or is my computer
12:26:51 From Pam Butterfield : reminds me of the things I have to let go of
12:26:56 From Red : Thought I hadn't done much over the last year until I did a flow chart.
12:27:00 From Sarah : i can see how work has dominated this year but my health has been stable so I can see how I feel more resilient
12:27:02 From Julie Cobbin : Hello again; not quite finished it yet. I did more than I'd realised; tracing ancestors and visiting new places.
12:27:04 From Jacinta : thank you, really enjoyed that ๐
12:27:05 From Maggie Hands : So much has happened for me this past year. A lot of emotional and challenging work, especially around boundaries for me. So I feel very called to bear right now.
12:27:10 From Annie W To All Panelists : That was very interesting.
I have long Covid, and twelve months ago, I was twelve months into my gut shutting down. This year has been a deeply healing year. My gut is almost healed. I have been camping. I have new friends and fun activities. Iโm learning how to make shamanic drums. I almost cannot believe the changes .
12:27:17 From Sandy Holt : Iโm loving doing thisโฆ. havenโt finished but realised how much I have achieved and how much I have overcome - how brave Iโve been this year. Feeling emotional as sooo much change.
12:27:19 From Rachel - Bristol : Quite profound. Although I have achieved a lot it is has been a tricky year and somehow lost my creativity and joy. Didn't realise until I started working on it.
12:27:30 From gilian To All Panelists : It was a year like no other and i hope 2026 will be better
12:27:33 From Karen Davies : challenging on memory but also made me realise how much more I have done/achieved.
12:27:36 From lesley gerrard : A revelation for me. I'd written about an astral travel I had (inadvertently) on 03.07.25 I need start journaling.
12:27:39 From caroline : I have realised that I had lots of ideas and actually acted on most of them! Had some blank months though!
12:27:45 From Janet Nicholson : Very thought provoking. Lots of positives and connections with Tribe. Realised I had been living in my head and not my heart for a lot of the time.
12:27:54 From Margaret Laycock : difficult - as this year has gone by in a blurr, there has been so many things to deal with
12:27:56 From Andrew : Highlighted how the best times were time spent in nature
12:27:56 From Leah Whitehorse : Challenging - a stressful year. I realise I never make time for review like this - made me realise how much I put off going out of the city and leaving my desk!
12:27:58 From karen latus : Hi again everyonex yes the surprise was that it happened during the film in the way of automatic writing or channelling!x I have sat back and reflected on what was written and there has been some big challenges a big ending and a couple of new beginnings but wow! What an evolution I can work on my inner self and higher consciousness nowx
12:28:01 From Barbara Ekins To All Panelists : Moving house dominated my year. Stressful at time!
12:28:07 From Andrea : Raised lots of things to consider for this year. Realised I have lots of personal peace but there are still issues with getting involved in others noise.
12:28:13 From Tina Burchill To caroline and All Panelists : Hi Caroline, this is a message from Nicola she asked me to share: I am so sorry for missing you off my list this morning in the creative writing sharing. You were all ready to share and I didn't spot you in my scribbles. I like to close off the morning with a reading. Would you like to read yours then, to send us on our way for lunch?
12:28:19 From Josie Malinowski : It's been such a tough year but it was gratifying to realise I'm now in a place of hope
12:28:23 From Alex (zee/zen/zens/zenโs/zenself) To All Panelists : Love this practice each year โค๏ธ
12:29:08 From Anne To All Panelists : Helpful, itโs been a challenging year was able to highlight positives and realise how much fear Iโve had. Also I was able to name some buried emotions as I was drawing pictures to go with my words. Also very aware of how nature has sustained me and how things are starting to shift. Thank you!
12:29:17 From Jacinta : one hour done of 100 hours for me time ๐
12:29:22 From Deborah Benson : well that was so interesting....thought I had nothing to make a timeline from....but wow it took on a life of it's own....drawings colours and insights...and most if not all of it was linked to Way of the Buzzard including Space to Emerge, meeting my ancestor ally etc....and of course my little beating heart Rory the Jack Russell...wow wow wow....gratitude to you both Nicola and Jason and the wonderful community you have created๐๐๐ป
12:29:29 From caroline : Thanks tina, but no, it feels a bit contived and this has been a wonderful day! Thank you though Nicola and Tina here!
12:29:46 From Belinda : So insightful - through to July life was pretty much on hold aside from intense overwork, then burnout, and so much has changed and happened in the second part of the year. Good and healing things, coming back to my self. So many more things written down in that second half, interesting to note it was the first half which was so draining even though it only had one or two themes going on (work and loss) Truly a year of two halves, relieved to be on the upswing!
12:29:54 From Miranda : Some of my small achievements were big. Making my own knickers!
12:29:59 From Kathryn To All Panelists : Ive been quite pleased and grateful to realise how many beings are supporting me. Iโve been dealing with a lot and have done so while keeping going - Iโm quite proud of myself. More to do and some big changes to make. This was really helpful thank you
12:30:01 From Karen Davies : always feel like I am striving but on reflection I have thrived, has enabled me to stop now and try and relax. enjoy all and be grateful and take space
12:30:03 From Karen Clarke : Highlighted a sense of being very stuck and the attempts to get unstuck and failed. Like a fly trapped in a web. The web of my own unconscious self sabotaging ways.
12:30:06 From Mary Hopper : only half way through due to interruptions, but also realised how 1st 6 months were so challenging but I made the choice to leave stressful work situations and prioritise my wellbeing and creativity. I feel proud that I made that change.
12:30:40 From gilian To All Panelists : more sleep
12:30:47 From Elspeth Mason To All Panelists : My intent was to spend more time doing the more spiritual things I love and spending time with lovely and interesting people - which includes all you lovely people as I only joined the mystery school last autumn.
12:31:02 From Alison : Many ups but against a background of selling my old house (completed yesterday, yay!) and learning to not to conform if it does not feel right.
12:31:08 From Kathryn : Ive been very pleased and grateful to realise how many beings are supporting me. Ive been dealing with a lot and ahve done so while keeping going - Iโm quite proud of myself. More to do and some big changes to make. This was really helpful thank you
12:31:28 From Trina Price : Slowing down, actually stopped watching any TV actually giving me more time...
12:31:44 From Tina Burchill To Kathryn and All Panelists : Hello Kathryn, If you want everyone to see your message, you need to click on everyone in the โtoโ box. If you donโt, only myself, Jason and Nicola will see it.
12:31:51 From Elspeth Mason To All Panelists : Yup - Jack Frost on the windows
12:31:56 From Miranda : crotchet...making a waistcoat for my brother. Making homemade soup from the free vegetables outside the community shop.

plus....doing bugger all ๐คฃ
winter walks and cosy early nights

12:32:03 From lesley gerrard : Ah the good old 'put a jumper on' days.
12:32:03 From Ilse : for me slowing down means choosing which things will be most nourishing for me. Cold water swimming and outdoor walks are top choices!
12:32:27 From Tina Burchill To Anne and All Panelists : Hello Anne, If you want everyone to see your message, you need to click on everyone in the โtoโ box. If you donโt, only myself, Jason and Nicola will see it.
12:32:35 From Julie Julie - the Aries phoenix : I choose the pace, not the outside world which has its own agenda. It means my agenda comes first.
12:32:44 From Julie Cobbin : I'll be tracing my ancestors, doing some knitting and reading maybe some drawing.
12:32:55 From Sophie A : Iโve got back into doing jigsaw puzzlesโฆ. i might light some candles, put some relaxing music on; itโs quite meditative and restful.
12:33:10 From Annie : Reading all the books I've not got round to reading. More family tree, research and stories. Being warm & cosy. Like the idea if two sleeps
12:33:10 From helen : I do have to sleeps

12:33:13 From Trina Price : I too remember ice on the inside of the bedroom window, 1960s/70s no double glazing & just gas heater in the kitchen and the open fire in the living room. TV used to shutdown too!!

12:33:23 From gilian To All Panelists : Wow that 2 sleeps really resonates because i do that
12:33:25 From Sandy Holt : Slowing downโฆSince Iโve allowed myself to winter I love this time of year. I retreat. I read. I draw/paint. I write. I stop being busy. By day outdoor time in woods nature. By night just hunker down. I stop socialising (apart from when i have to for family at Christmas. But I love now..
12:33:33 From Tracey Roberts : Being outdoors as much as possible and dealing with the discomfort of what I'm not getting done in the house/for work etc. In these few short weeks of short days I want to prioritise my wellbeing above all else

12:33:52 From Kathryn : Iโve also realised I spend too much time โrecuperatingโ as opposed to โnourishing,โ and that needs to change. I think my slowing down will mean more time walking in nature and more creative time
12:33:52 From Annie : Art and felting
12:33:53 From Julie Julie - the Aries phoenix : no veg tasted better than free veg!
12:33:56 From Jacinta : @miranda ๐ cheese ๐ง๐๐ป
12:34:00 From Leah Whitehorse : I think the fact that I'm struggling to think of how to slow down is a sign in itself! Winter walks are good though - need to make more time for that
12:34:00 From Susan Hadrick : candles, fire, good homecooked food, knitting and music
12:34:06 From claire : For me it's nor so much slowing down but more swapping to enjoyable activities - walking and winter migrant birdwatching rather than "chores" like gardening and exercise classes.
12:34:21 From Belinda : Being highly selective in choosing what to do or not do, inviting in quietness, reading and napping instead of TV/radio on while grafting on DIY projects, winter projects of woolcrafts and genealogy.
12:34:24 From Lesley Jill : reading, crafts which helps me go into my own space
12:34:25 From Christine : Sorting out my dried seed heads and pods to save seed for planting next year. Calming and looking forward but still relaxing,

12:36:43 From Karen Davies : winter is my studio time to create, challenge is to lesson other commitments to take this time. I love dark nights by the fire and the stormy weather.
12:36:52 From Miranda : Yes 2am! or anytime...cheese..
12:37:03 From Debbie in Kenilworth : Iโm often awake in the night. I embrace it and imagine revisiting homes weโve had in the past past, my grandparents and childhood homes. I can actually see everything in the room, imagine the feel of the wallpaper and patterned glass, Iโm reminded of things I had forgotten. I guess itโs journeying in a way.
12:37:08 From Belinda : Literally turning down some invitations (from those who will understand) with the phrase - 'oh, no thank you, I'm wintering'...!
12:37:20 From Kathryn : I think some found-object artwork is in order too with treasures I find out on my walks
12:37:57 From Sandy Holt : also wanted to share this year I bought a crystal bear, agate and amethyst - when I find myself getting too busy Iโm going to hold him and meditate.
12:38:17 From Kathryn : I love the idea of wintering! I will use that one thank you Belinda ๐
12:38:41 From Belinda : Yes, the book - that's where I picked up the phrase!
12:38:57 From Tracey Roberts : Katherine May's Wintering is wondeful

12:39:08 From Ali Hunn : I have the book next to me! Wintering by Katherine May
12:39:34 From Miranda : The winter will call me to make gingerbread men too. A very relaxing change of pace.
12:40:05 From Julie Julie - the Aries phoenix : This is good. I have been thinking about all the stuff I want to leave behind.
12:40:37 From Julie Julie - the Aries phoenix : yet there was good in 2025 as well as the less good.
12:41:04 From Julie Julie - the Aries phoenix : My seeds are a bit vague, like the courage to defend myself, self worth and self care.
12:41:56 From Julie Cobbin : Debbie at Kenilworth. I do that; thinking about my childhood and my grandparents' homes. I see the items in our kitchen , some of which I had forgotten. I love thinking about my grandparents' home. I can smell my grandma's apple and blackberry pie on a plate in her walk-in larder and hear the sound of their doors closing. I can only see it well just before I go to sleep. ๐๐
12:43:51 From Annie W To All Panelists : Any chance you can put these questions in the chat. I have brain fog and have missed the workbook. I only managed to write four down. Thank you.

1 hour 27 minutes
In this final session we work with the energy of Holly, the tree of sanctuary. We talk about the energies of Holly and share our Holly nature connection video. We then lead a guided shamanic journey to Holly to ask: 'Help me find my sanctuary this winter.
We round of the retreat with an intention-setting ceremony.

15:21:13 From Alyson : Rainbows, rain and hail on my beautiful time in nature.๐
15:21:28 From Andrew : Saw a man in a BEAR suit!
15:21:31 From Josie Malinowski : I can't believe that was 2.5 hours it flew by!
15:21:37 From Christine : I saw a buzzard! Usually kites here in the Chilterns. X
15:21:37 From Andrew : Yes
15:21:41 From lesley gerrard : 3 herons and a kestrel
15:21:42 From Jacinta : went really quick but nice to get out, busy eating premade lunch ๐
15:21:48 From Andrew : Talking to a couple in a car
15:21:50 From Ann Vallance : Luckily the sun came out, I didnโt have to get wet!
15:21:51 From Kathryn : Highly helpful exercise! I made a couple of big realisations.
15:21:53 From Sarah : really good to have some focused time
15:22:08 From Andrew : No, too wet!
15:22:14 From Tracey Roberts : The rain was so cold but I found a tiny bit of shelter under a big holly tree. Got happily soaked
15:22:14 From caroline : It was joyous, even though I got soaked in a hail storm!
15:22:16 From Kathryn : Yay for the buzzards birds and animals!
15:22:18 From Liz McT : Saw the same two cormorants at the beginning and end of my riverside walk then a crow. Yes, it weant quickly.
15:22:19 From Linsey Meredith : It was very still for me, like nature was sitting with me ๐
15:22:20 From SarahHutchings : Lovely to be out in the sunshine
15:22:22 From Kathryn : Adn the man in the bear suit lol
15:22:34 From Andrew : We had a lovely walk in the rain, contemplating and walking.

15:22:36 From Sophie A : I was engulfed by a group of Long Tailed Tits, it was a joyful experience :-)
15:22:41 From Karen Davies : was perfect time to sit on the shore with the sun on my face, it gave a good space to reflect on the questions, I have gained some clarity on a very hectic mind!
15:22:41 From Pam Butterfield : everything I do this exercise, I get a message/ conclusion that I must sit outside on a regular basis, and still I don't...must try harder
15:22:42 From GillM : warm, rainbow on way home.... a buzzard flew over and a wren on the tree above me as I sat writting
15:22:45 From Karen Clarke : It was so peaceful - no one at all on my walk and journal time in nature, until it was time to go. The sun shone and the land was still with lots of songbirds.
15:22:57 From Tracy * : a found a hibernating ladybird in the deep creases of an oak tree
15:23:14 From lesley gerrard : That's what I thought, one heron clearly not enough to ram the stillness message home. I've taken on overtime from work so feels like 3 is a telling off.
15:23:17 From Eliza : I went for a walk up at the college where I studied horticulture 30 years ago! It's changed but amazing to be back up there!
15:23:22 From Alison : Sun came out - Robins, Dunnock, a flock of long tailed and blue tits. Ended with a lovely rainbow
15:23:27 From Diane Gilbertson : Saw a magpie intent on digging down into the earth, my dog came along too and did a lot of digging at the same time. I feel the message is I need to dig deep!
15:23:36 From Josie Malinowski : I was really drawn to a plant I thought was a tree, but I was later able to ID it as ivy, & was delighted to then discover that ivy is in your tree spirit course :)
15:23:39 From Ruth Findlay : Probably not! But it's great to know they're there.
15:23:51 From gilian : cold wet and windy half an hour walking then indoors to warh mares tail and going to ground. to coldo sit around plaing the age card here!!
15:23:53 From iPad To All Panelists : I would not normally go out on such a day in the rain, but I feel better for fresh air. Thought of more writings I may do later. Thank you
15:23:59 From Rachel - Bristol : Was hard at first as sat in my very urban garden overlooked by neighbours but dropped into space, breeze came and joined by garden birds. Helpful but feeling a bit emotional now.
15:24:26 From Tina Burchill To iPad and All Panelists : Hello , If you want everyone to see your message, you need to click on everyone in the โtoโ box. If you donโt, only myself, Jason and Nicola will see it.
15:24:28 From Leah Whitehorse : Lovely walk in the park in the rain. Lots of messages. Will share some in the FB group later. Initial thing was a blackbird bathing in a puddle. So funny that I thought I had pressed the record button but I didn't get it. It was like a message to say ' this is just for you'. Time to cleanse.
15:24:33 From Tom : Two buetits and two squirrels playing alongside me
15:24:48 From Alison Gaffney : Amazing time in the wild woods of Kent a sacred space with the yews - saw 2 raptors on the way home โฆ kites or buzzards - felt special
15:24:54 From Tina Burchill To Annie W and All Panelists : Hello Annie, If you want everyone to see your message, you need to click on everyone in the โtoโ box. If you donโt, only myself, Jason and Nicola will see it.
15:25:12 From Ruth Findlay : Lots of crisp leaves underfoot, and sun shining on the snowy mountains. And ambitious ideas for next year!
15:25:26 From Kathryn : I saw two oak trees while I was out, both had spilt at the bottom of the trunk, one then had two trunks forming the rest of the tree and the other had a huge base with FIVE trunks growing from it. Very big and old trees, one had a little hole at the base which I can imagine being a den for little woodland creature. The multiple trunks were helpful to visualise doing several things at once, holding strands of my life without one taking over others. It threw it down so I went for my walk, then came back to do my journalling in the warm ๐
15:25:40 From Susan : Lovely time walking and writing in local woodlands...x
15:27:56 From Sandy Holt : I sat by Holy for half an hour during my outside time - I dozed off. Woken by crow then beautiful birdsong - gold finch, song thrush, long tailed tit, robin and then jackdaw and pigeonโฆ
15:28:44 From Ann Vallance : I live in Holly Cottage, there is a large holly tree by the front gate. Itโs covered in loads of berries every year.
15:28:45 From donna : Wonderful and perfect freudian ship sandy ๐
15:28:49 From Julie Cobbin : Hello again. I walked around a graveyard in the drizzle; peaceful, trees including Holly, squirrels and crows. I had some spare time once back so decided to read a book that I've had for a long time. 'East of the Sun, West of the Moon' by Jackie Morris. I honestly did not know/remember that it is a complete story about a girl and a polar bear. I had almost chosen to read a book about trees. I didn't make the connection of "bear" until maybe 10 pages in. I must have been led to read this.Last week, I noticed the eyes and muzzle of a polar bear
15:29:02 From donna : Slip not shipโฆ.
15:33:48 From Julie Cobbin : ... muzzle of a polar bear in the wood knot markings on our kitchen work surface. I never really think about polar bears. In last week'sJourney Circle, despite falling asleep, I did see a snowy landscape rather than a woodland. I don't particularly like snow; I worry about slipping. I think Bear is calling me. ๐๐
15:35:02 From Tina Burchill : https://thewayofthebuzzard.co.uk/holly-meditation/
15:35:23 From Belinda : I was very drawn by the Holly I stood with today being protective of her new growth emerging. Also the adaptation of the spines lower but not higher aligned with thoughts around being selective on what to put resources into over the winter.
15:43:15 From Rachael โจ : โค๏ธ
15:43:22 From Kathryn : Beautiful
15:43:32 From Tracey Roberts : beautiful film
15:43:36 From jacquelineโs iPhone : Beautiful film
15:43:39 From Sarah : serene
15:43:43 From Leah Whitehorse : Lovely to listen to Bobby Robin throughout the filme too - very peaceful
15:43:44 From Ruth Findlay : I had two cats watching it intently with me, entranced by the birdsong and pictures.
15:43:47 From Miranda : Definitely
15:43:49 From Belinda : That was lovely. Majestic, the huge holly tree!
15:43:50 From gilian : Beautiful
15:43:58 From Alison Gaffney : Lovely and feeling the peace and protection
15:43:59 From Alison : little red jewels against glossy green background
15:44:03 From Barbara Ekins To All Panelists : Restful
15:44:04 From Lesley Jill : beautiful
15:44:13 From Karen Clarke : Such a big tree! I do not think I have ever seen one so big. Beautiful and thank you.
15:44:46 From Sandy Holt : Oh my just wonderful an extension of my Holly experience earlierโฆlove your film. Thank you xx
15:44:52 From Sarah : we've got a holly in the front garden bursting with berries at the moment, hoping to spot winter visitors soon. i can see it from my home office desk.
15:45:29 From Karen Davies : tere is no holly around where Ilive
15:45:36 From Julie Cobbin : Lovely; the Holly trees are such a lovely shape. ๐ฟโค
15:45:39 From Sandy Holt : Iโve planted my own garden of Hollies in the gardenโฆ canโt wait for it to grow and flourish
15:46:15 From Tina Burchill : Reminder: Help me find my sanctuary this winter
15:48:27 From Lesley Holehouse To All Panelists : I have a wonderful holly hedge at home which has grown about25ft tall. Every year it is ladened with berries and always the first week in December the field fares, thrushes , blackbirds all come and over two weeks strip all the berries. The hedge is a hive of activity and the song that comes from it is so heartening at this day shortening time. It provides shelter for my horses and rabbits live in its base. It gladdens my heart and soul.
15:50:43 From Miranda : Lovely drum!
16:20:08 From Julie Julie - the Aries phoenix : Rabbit appeared to teach me to leave spaces where I'm not valued. and to make space for all parts of myself.
16:20:34 From Tom : I received a question - "Why do wolves howl at the moon?" Need to look into the significance of that
16:20:39 From caroline : I was with my companion animal...a giraffe...for only a while. The rest of my journey was just words. 'A message to my soul: find truth within to gain sanctuary without.' This has been such a year for finding my truth and authenticity, a vital activity especially now.
16:21:15 From Karen Davies : holly showed me surrounded by an energetic field
16:21:25 From Liz McT : Drawn to an opening into a space with Holly all around me and a canopy above me - lots of cushions/blankets and the message I took was to rest more (properly rest - more sleep).
16:21:30 From gilian : Wolf encouraged me to play in the pond that was there
16:21:39 From Leah Whitehorse : Mine was strange - I went back to my real life walk today where I saw a rat. Suddenly I was running with Mr Rat and he took me to a river bank to observe a beaver. It's the second time this week that I have seen this scene so I think I need to do further reading. I will read your post again.
16:21:46 From GillM : I fell asleep
16:21:46 From Sophie A : I found Green Man up in the branches of Holly. I rested up there with him while Wolf waited at the base of the tree for me. I was grateful for the time and safety to rest with them.
16:22:16 From Andrew : My companion animal was Crow - I've not worked with Crow before. Holly told me to be my own Sanctuary by setting and maintaining my own boundaries and limits.
16:22:20 From Sarah : my mind was drifting but was conscious of feeling soothed in the dark, quiet space inside the holly bush, i need this time to rest and recharge away from the busy world
16:22:33 From Linsey Meredith : Under the holly tree I saw an injured black snake, which broke in two and died in my hands. I saw its green eyes die. Is this me needing to let regrets and sorrow die?
16:22:39 From Leah Whitehorse : Oh - thanks for that. I will read rat as well
16:22:41 From Miranda : Holly has just recommended that I just let myself to craft and make...and have time with my cats and my parrot. Hare guided me to Holly. and we looked at footprints in the snow... bird prints...and running through the snowy woods with hare.
16:22:42 From Kathryn : I sat under the holly with Wolf and everything went dark, I felt safe. I saw midnight blue, looking like water and clouds, then I saw huge golden eye! Like a giant being. I think the dark was about sleep and warmth. I saw a pool, very peaceful. That was midnight blue too. Wolf was very supportive and I felt very safe with him.
16:22:55 From Rachel - Bristol : Message of rest.
16:23:19 From Margaret Laycock : Holly indicated that anyplace I sit in the garden is ok sanctuary is the time, sunrise is good
16:24:33 From Tracey Roberts : I was led to the campfire that I visit every night before I go to sleep. The guides and ancestors there told me to visit more often! Holly showed me how to protect my time to do what I need to do this winter.
16:24:47 From Anne : Holly told me to โtune in to what you need.โ I saw a peregrine falcon coming towards me and it sat on a branch in front of me.
16:24:57 From Janet Nicholson : I was. Shown an old sepia print photograph and given a cup of rose hip tea.
16:25:03 From Jacinta : Holly walked alongside me as well as Bear and Hare. Hare my spirit animal showed me my courage, resilience and strength and where I have come from on this journey . There's sanctuary to be found out in there deep in nature is the message.
my connection to nature has declined a bit with moving house lately and I know this is something I need to deepen more again
16:25:27 From gilian : I see xsomeone else had a pond with Wolf
16:25:33 From Liz W : Deep within the underskirts of the holly bush, I was invisible and feeling very safe. Fox guarded me from the outskirts of this huge Holly. I ws warned to stay protected from internal disturbance as well as external. My mind needs peace too.
16:25:35 From Linsey Meredith : Thank you!
16:26:01 From Sandy Holt : I was met by bear who took me deep into the woodlands and we saw the most beautiful of holly trees - suddenly we were in a holly cave, Oberon my cat was with me and I lit a fire. We were joined by crow and robin, then dormouse. we all just sat together, sharing stories. Badger joined us late in the journey just before we came back. it was beautiful the Holly cave and I were holding space and bear just offering a nurturing hug. When I came back oberon my cat , who was sitting next to me when I started the journey , had his paw on my hand. It was all so beautiful x
16:26:17 From Deborah Benson : The Wolf was my dog Jack as his higher self....black as night with huge green eyes...he led me to a stone circle where Holly waited for us....Wolf stood guard outside while Holly parted her branches and invited me to step inside....the branches closed behind me .....there was a magnificent wooden throne waiting for me and Holly invited me to sit upon it....she gifted me a crown and told me to be the Empress of the Tarot and stand tall in my power and follow my true path....Bear was also there and has my back๐ป๐๐
16:26:32 From Linsey Meredith : I will thanks ๐
16:27:13 From gilian : Thank you both for a lovely day
