What do we mean by ‘Earth care’?

Caring for their home was something deeply important to our ancestors. They recognised that if they didn’t look after the Earth, who provided them with everything they needed to survive, they would simply die.

As ‘civilisation’ spread, humanity became more and more detached from the Earth, culminating in the industrial revolution when we stepped up pillaging the land to a new level, an escalation that continues today.

More and more of us are awakening to the fact that this cannot carry on, that our Earth is reacting and we will soon reach that critical point of no return.

It’s time to step up and say ‘no more’! To find out what is in our ability to change, and to take action. The Dalai Lama, when asked what was the most important meditation that we could do right now, responded by saying “critical thinking, followed by action“.

There is so much we could do, and so much that needs to be done that it’s a really common action to do nothing, or do very little, overwhelmed by it all. This ‘freeze’ mentality is not creating the change that we need, on the level that we need it to happen, and so much of the ethos of  The Way of the Buzzard is to find our place here on Earth and to discover what we can do to support a new way of existing on our planet.

These pages will support you in making changes to the way you live your life so that you tread more gently on the Earth, as well as information on campaigns and direct action which we feel is important as we stand up to the controlling bodies and demand change.

We have also included information on Earth healing both on an energetic level, healing the grid of ley lines which map across the land, as well as working with the lower world where the Sidhe live. It wasn’t so long ago in our land that people worked with the faeries, elves and other nature spirits, until a time when they were hidden in fairy tales.

However, they are as real as you and I, and more powerful than you could ever imagine, and if we are to create a new Earth we need them on side working with us.

“You simply have to turn your back on a culture that has gone sterile and dead and get with the program of a living world and the imagination”

Terence McKenna
